So, sorry I've been sleeping on this blog for a minute, but that is because I've been taking in DAVE CORESH's new mixtape THE FORMAL INTRODUCTION. As I predicted on my earlier Dave Coresh post, the mixtape is bananas. Crazy lyrics, and crazy production. You definitely need to check this out, and I think it is safe to say that there are some big things in store in the future for Mr.Coresh.
"Chicago-based, D.C.-bred emcee Dave Coresh has stepped into the Booth to bring fans his long-awaited fourth mixtape, Formal Introduction.
Mixed by DJ Tay James, the street album is presented by RubyHornet, FakeShoreDrive, IllRoots, and DJBooth.net. Other sponsors include Jugrnaut, InoPrints.com, DTLR, Q&Q Entertainment, Classick Studios and Grade A Mixtapes.
Among the 15 fresh new cuts showcased on the set are the recently-featured title track and the artist’s Booth debut, the reader-acclaimed “Keep It Movin.” Fellow Windy City natives Mike Schpitz, Add-2, Vic Mensa, Chuck L.i., Rocket and BEN, along with D.C.‘s G5 Clive join Coresh throughout the project, flowing over beats by Rob Bates, Maja 7th, ILL Brown, Chaise Marcel, Nova and Jon Francis."

My Favourite tracks: 'Keep it Movin' and 'Rewind', although that might just be because I've listened to them the most (they were the ones that Coresh made a video for). As well as the title track "The Formal Introduction' as well as the eerie "Fuck U Pay Me".
On a similar note, Coresh's main producer, ROB BATES, is crazy, and I hope to hear more of his stuff in the future.
